- Matthew 40 27:20 - But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
ΟΙ ΔΕ ΑΡΧΙΕΡΕΙς ΚΑΙ ΟΙ ΠΡΕΣΒΥΤΕΡΟΙ ΕΠΕΙΣΑΝ ΤΟΥς ΟΧΛΟΥς ΙΝΑ ΑΙΤΗΣΩΝΤΑΙ ΤΟΝ ΒΑΡΑΒΒΑΝ ΤΟΝ ΔΕ ΙΗΣΟΥΝ ΑΠΟΛΕΣΩΣΙΝ - Matthew 40 5:1 - And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain : and when he was set , his disciples came unto him :
ΙΔΩΝ ΔΕ ΤΟΥς ΟΧΛΟΥς ΑΝΕΒΗ ΕΙς ΤΟ ΟΡΟς ΚΑΙ ΚΑΨΙΣΑΝΤΟς ΑΥΤΟΥ ΠΡΟΣΗΛΨΑΝ ΑΥΤΩ ΟΙ ΜΑΨΗΤΑΙ ΑΥΤΟΥ - Matthew 40 9:36 - But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted , and were scattered abroad , as sheep having no shepherd.
