- 2 Kings 12 16:15 - And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying , Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, and the evening meat offering, and the king's burnt sacrifice, and his meat offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings ; and sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice : and the brasen altar shall be for me to enquire by.
ויצוהו המלכ־אחז את־אוריה הכהן לאמר על המזבח הגדול הקטר את־עלת־הבקר ואת־מנחת הערב ואת־עלת המלך ואת־מנחתו ואת עלת כל־עם הארץ ומנחתם ונסכיהם וכל־דם עלה וכל־דמ־זבח עליו תזרק ומזבח הנחשׁת יהיה־לי לבקר - 2 Samuel 10 11:14 - And it came to pass in the morning, that David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent it by the hand of Uriah.
ויהי בבקר ויכתב דוד ספר אל־יואב וישׁלח ביד אוריה - Jeremiah 24 26:21 - And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death : but when Urijah heard it, he was afraid , and fled , and went into Egypt ;
וישׁמע המלכ־יהויקים וכל־גבוריו וכל־השׂרים את־דבריו ויבקשׁ המלך המיתו וישׁמע אוריהו וירא ויברח ויבא מצרים - Isaiah 23 8:2 - And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record , Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.
ואעידה לי עדים נאמנים את אוריה הכהן ואת־זכריהו בן יברכיהו - 2 Samuel 10 11:11 - And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents ; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields ; shall I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink , and to lie with my wife ? as thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing.
ויאמר אוריה אל־דוד הארון וישׂראל ויהודה ישׁבים בסכות ואדני יואב ועבדי אדני על־פני השׂדה חנים ואני אבוא אל־ביתי לאכל ולשׁתות ולשׁכב עמ־אשׁתי חיך וחי נפשׁך אמ־אעשׂה את־הדבר הזה
