- Jeremiah 24 51:38 - They shall roar together like lions : they shall yell as lions ' whelps.
יחדו ככפרים ישׁאגו נערו כגורי אריות שָׁאַג × mightily, roar [8799] יַחַד Alike, at all (once), b.. כְּפִיר (young) lion, village נָעַר Yell [8804] אֲרִי (young) lion, pierce (.. גּוֹר Whelp - Ezekiel 26 19:2 - And say , What is thy mother ? A lioness : she lay down among lions, she nourished her whelps among young lions.
ואמרת מה אמך לביא בין אריות רבצה בתוך כפרים רבתה גוריה - Daniel 27 6:12 - Then they came near , and spake before the king concerning the king's decree ; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions ? איה מעון אריות ומרעה הוא לכפרים אשׁר הלך אריה לביא שׁם גור אריה ואין מחריד - Daniel 27 6:27 - He delivereth and rescueth , and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.
