- 1 Samuel 9 11:11 - And it was so on the morrow, that Saul put the people in three companies ; and they came into the midst of the host in the morning watch, and slew the Ammonites until the heat of the day : and it came to pass, that they which remained were scattered , so that two of them were not left together.
ויהי ממחרת וישׂם שׁאול את־העם שׁלשׁה ראשׁים ויבאו בתוכ־המחנה באשׁמרת הבקר ויכו את־עמון עד־חם היום ויהי הנשׁארים ויפצו ולא נשׁארו־בם שׁנים יחד - Jeremiah 24 40:6 - Then went Jeremiah unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah ; and dwelt with him among the people that were left in the land.
ויבא ירמיהו אל־גדליה בנ־אחיקם המצפתה וישׁב אתו בתוך העם הנשׁארים בארץ - Isaiah 23 33:21 - But there the glorious LORD will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams ; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.
