- Daniel 27 6:27 - He delivereth and rescueth , and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.
משׁיזב ומצל ועבד אתין ותמהין בשׁמיא ובארעא די שׁיזיב לדניאל מנ־יד אריותא - Daniel 27 7:4 - The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings : I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked , and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.
קדמיתא כאריה וגפין די־נשׁר לה חזה הוית עד די־מריטו גפיה ונטילת מנ־ארעא ועל־רגלין כאנשׁ הקימת ולבב אנשׁ יהיב לה - Jeremiah 24 10:11 - Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
