- Deuteronomy 5 15:8 - But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth .
כי־פתח תפתח את־ידך לו והעבט תעביטנו די מחסרו אשׁר יחסר לו - Deuteronomy 5 15:7 - If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother :
כי־יהיה בך אביון מאחד אחיך באחד שׁעריך בארצך אשׁר־יהוה אלהיך נתן לך לא תאמץ את־לבבך ולא תקפץ את־ידך מאחיך האביון - Deuteronomy 5 3:24 - O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand : for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might ?
אדני יהוה אתה החלות להראות את־עבדך את־גדלך ואת־ידך החזקה אשׁר מי־אל בשׁמים ובארץ אשׁר־יעשׂה כמעשׂיך וכגבורתך - Deuteronomy 5 15:11 - For the poor shall never cease out of the land : therefore I command thee, saying , Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
כי לא־יחדל אביון מקרב הארץ על־כן אנכי מצוך לאמר פתח תפתח את־ידך לאחיך לעניך ולאבינך בארצך - Nehemiah 16 9:15 - And gavest them bread from heaven for their hunger, and broughtest forth water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and promisedst them that they should go in to possess the land which thou hadst sworn to give them.
