- Jeremiah 24 26:23 - And they fetched forth Urijah out of Egypt, and brought him unto Jehoiakim the king ; who slew him with the sword, and cast his dead body into the graves of the common people.
ויוציאו את־אוריהו ממצרים ויבאהו אל־המלך יהויקים ויכהו בחרב וישׁלך את־נבלתו אל־קברי בני העם - Leviticus 3 11:11 - They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination .
ושׁקץ יהיו לכם מבשׂרם לא תאכלו ואת־נבלתם תשׁקצו שֶׁקֶץ Abominable(-tion) אָכַל × at all, burn up, cons.. [8799] בָּשָׂר Body, (fat, lean) flesh.. נְבֵלָה (dead) body, (dead) car.. שָׁקַץ Abhor, make abominable,.. [8762] - Jeremiah 24 19:7 - And I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place ; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies , and by the hands of them that seek their lives : and their carcases will I give to be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.
ובקתי את־עצת יהודה וירושׁלם במקום הזה והפלתים בחרב לפני איביהם וביד מבקשׁי נפשׁם ונתתי את־נבלתם למאכל לעוף השׁמים ולבהמת הארץ - Hosea 28 2:10 - And now will I discover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers , and none shall deliver her out of mine hand.
ועתה אגלה את־נבלתה לעיני מאהביה ואישׁ לא־יצילנה מידי - 1 Kings 11 13:28 - And he went and found his carcase cast in the way, and the ass and the lion standing by the carcase : the lion had not eaten the carcase, nor torn the ass.
וילך וימצא את־נבלתו משׁלכת בדרך וחמור והאריה עמדים אצל הנבלה לא־אכל האריה את־הנבלה ולא שׁבר את־החמור
