- Leviticus 3 11:28 - And he that beareth the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even : they are unclean unto you.
והנשׂא את־נבלתם יכבס בגדיו וטמא עד־הערב טמאים המה לכם - Jeremiah 24 19:7 - And I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place ; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies , and by the hands of them that seek their lives : and their carcases will I give to be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.
ובקתי את־עצת יהודה וירושׁלם במקום הזה והפלתים בחרב לפני איביהם וביד מבקשׁי נפשׁם ונתתי את־נבלתם למאכל לעוף השׁמים ולבהמת הארץ - Leviticus 3 11:11 - They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination .
