- Joshua 6 24:15 - And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve ; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell : but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
ואם רע בעיניכם לעבד את־יהוה בחרו לכם היום את־מי תעבדון אם את־אלהים אשׁר־עבדו אבותיכם אשׁר בעבר הנהר ואם את־אלהי האמרי אשׁר אתם ישׁבים בארצם ואנכי וביתי נעבד את־יהוה - Jeremiah 24 18:6 - O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter ? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
