- Jeremiah 24 17:5 - Thus saith the LORD ; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
כה אמר יהוה ארור הגבר אשׁר יבטח באדם ושׂם בשׂר זרעו ומנ־יהוה יסור לבו - Ecclesiastes 21 2:24 - There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink , and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw , that it was from the hand of God.
אינ־טוב באדם שׁיאכל ושׁתה והראה את־נפשׁו טוב בעמלו גמ־זה ראיתי אני כי מיד האלהים היא - Exodus 2 8:18 - And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast.
