- Joshua 6 2:19 - And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless : and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him.
והיה כל אשׁר־יצא מדלתי ביתך החוצה דמו בראשׁו ואנחנו נקים וכל אשׁר יהיה אתך בבית דמו בראשׁנו אמ־יד תהיה־בו - 1 Kings 11 20:31 - And his servants said unto him, Behold now, we have heard that the kings of the house of Israel are merciful kings : let us, I pray thee, put sackcloth on our loins, and ropes upon our heads, and go out to the king of Israel : peradventure he will save thy life.
