- Nehemiah 16 9:32 - Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the terrible God, who keepest covenant and mercy, let not all the trouble seem little before thee, that hath come upon us, on our kings, on our princes, and on our priests, and on our prophets, and on our fathers, and on all thy people, since the time of the kings of Assyria unto this day.
ועתה אלהינו האל הגדול הגבור והנורא שׁומר הברית והחסד אל־ימעט לפניך את כל־התלאה אשׁר־מצאתנו למלכינו לשׂרינו ולכהנינו ולנביאנו ולאבתינו ולכל־עמך מימי מלכי אשׁור עד היום הזה - Joel 29 3:9 - Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles ; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near ; let them come up :
קראו־זאת בגוים קדשׁו מלחמה העירו הגבורים יגשׁו יעלו כל אנשׁי המלחמה - Nehemiah 16 11:14 - And their brethren, mighty men of valour, an hundred twenty and eight : and their overseer was Zabdiel, the son of one of the great men.
