- Deuteronomy 5 14:6 - And every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into two claws, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat .
וכל־בהמה מפרסת פרסה ושׁסעת שׁסע שׁתי פרסות מעלת גרה בבהמה אתה תאכלו - Leviticus 3 11:4 - Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof : as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof ; he is unclean unto you.
אך את־זה לא תאכלו ממעלי הגרה וממפריסי הפרסה את־הגמל כי־מעלה גרה הוא ופרסה איננו מפריס טמא הוא לכם - Leviticus 3 27:25 - And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary : twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.
וכל־ערכך יהיה בשׁקל הקדשׁ עשׂרים גרה יהיה השׁקל עֵרֶךְ Equal, estimation, (thi.. שֶׁקֶל Shekel קֹדֶשׁ Consecrated (thing), de.. עֶשְׂרִים (six-)score, twenty(-ie.. גֵּרָה Gerah שֶׁקֶל Shekel - Ezekiel 26 45:12 - And the shekel shall be twenty gerahs : twenty shekels, five and twenty shekels, fifteen shekels, shall be your maneh.
והשׁקל עשׂרים גרה עשׂרים שׁקלים חמשׁה ועשׂרים שׁקלים עשׂרה וחמשׁה שׁקל המנה יהיה לכם - 2 Kings 12 14:10 - Thou hast indeed smitten Edom, and thine heart hath lifted thee up : glory of this, and tarry at home : for why shouldest thou meddle to thy hurt, that thou shouldest fall , even thou, and Judah with thee?
הכה הכית את־אדום ונשׂאך לבך הכבד ושׁב בביתך ולמה תתגרה ברעה ונפלתה אתה ויהודה עמך
