- 2 Chronicles 14 8:13 - Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.
ובדבר־יום ביום להעלות כמצות משׁה לשׁבתות ולחדשׁים ולמועדות שׁלושׁ פעמים בשׁנה בחג המצות ובחג השׁבעות ובחג הסכות - Exodus 2 16:4 - Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day , that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.
ויאמר יהוה אל־משׁה הנני ממטיר לכם לחם מנ־השׁמים ויצא העם ולקטו דבר־יום ביומו למען אנסנו הילך בתורתי אמ־לא - 1 Chronicles 13 16:37 - So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required :
ויעזב־שׁם לפני ארון ברית־יהוה לאסף ולאחיו לשׁרת לפני הארון תמיד לדבר־יום ביומו - Exodus 2 5:13 - And the taskmasters hasted them, saying , Fulfil your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw.
והנגשׂים אצים לאמר כלו מעשׂיכם דבר־יום ביומו כאשׁר בהיות התבן - Nehemiah 16 12:47 - And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion : and they sanctified holy things unto the Levites ; and the Levites sanctified them unto the children of Aaron.
וכל־ישׂראל בימי זרבבל ובימי נחמיה נתנים מניות המשׁררים והשׁערים דבר־יום ביומו ומקדשׁים ללוים והלוים מקדשׁים לבני אהרן
