- Daniel 27 5:16 - And I have heard of thee, that thou canst make interpretations, and dissolve doubts : now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.
ואנה שׁמעת עליך די־תוכל פשׁרין למפשׁר וקטרין למשׁרא כען הן תוכל כתבא למקרא ופשׁרה להודעתני ארגונא תלבשׁ והמונכא די־דהבא על־צוארך ותלתא במלכותא תשׁלט - Daniel 27 2:32 - This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,
הוא צלמא ראשׁה די־דהב טב חדוהי ודרעוהי די כסף מעוהי וירכתה די נחשׁ צֶלֶם Form, image רֵאשׁ Chief, head, sum טָב Fine, good דְּהַב Gold(-en) חֲדִי Breast דְּרַע Arm כְּסַף Money, silver מְעָה Belly יַרְכָא Thigh נְחָשׁ Brass - Daniel 27 5:29 - Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.
באדין אמר בלשׁאצר והלבישׁו לדניאל ארגונא והמונכא די־דהבא על־צוארה והכרזו עלוהי די־להוא שׁליט תלתא במלכותא - Daniel 27 5:7 - The king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers . And the king spake , and said to the wise men of Babylon, Whosoever shall read this writing, and shew me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.
קרא מלכא בחיל להעלה לאשׁפיא כשׂדיא וגזריא ענה מלכא ואמר לחכימי בבל די כל־אנשׁ די־יקרה כתבה דנה ופשׁרה יחונני ארגונא ילבשׁ והמונכא די־דהבא על־צוארה ותלתי במלכותא ישׁלט - Daniel 27 3:1 - Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits : he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
