- Ezekiel 26 31:15 - Thus saith the Lord GOD ; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning : I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed : and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.
כה־אמר אדני יהוה ביום רדתו שׁאולה האבלתי כסתי עליו את־תהום ואמנע נהרותיה ויכלאו מים רבים ואקדר עליו לבנון וכל־עצי השׂדה עליו עלפה - Daniel 27 8:6 - And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.
ויבא עד־האיל בעל הקרנים אשׁר ראיתי עמד לפני האבל וירץ אליו בחמת כחו - 2 Samuel 10 11:27 - And when the mourning was past , David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD.
ויעבר האבל וישׁלח דוד ויאספה אל־ביתו ותהי־לו לאשׁה ותלד לו בן וירע הדבר אשׁר־עשׂה דוד בעיני יהוה - Genesis 1 50:11 - And when the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning in the floor of Atad, they said , This is a grievous mourning to the Egyptians : wherefore the name of it was called Abelmizraim, which is beyond Jordan.
וירא יושׁב הארץ הכנעני את־האבל בגרן האטד ויאמרו אבל־כבד זה למצרים על־כן קרא שׁמה אבל מצרים אשׁר בעבר הירדן - Daniel 27 8:3 - Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw , and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns : and the two horns were high ; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
ואשׂא עיני ואראה והנה איל אחד עמד לפני האבל ולו קרנים והקרנים גבהות והאחת גבהה מנ־השׁנית והגבהה עלה באחרנה
