- 1 Samuel 9 17:12 - Now David was the son of that Ephrathite of Bethlehemjudah , whose name was Jesse ; and he had eight sons : and the man went among men for an old man in the days of Saul.
ודוד בנ־אישׁ אפרתי הזה מבית לחם יהודה ושׁמו ישׁי ולו שׁמנה בנים והאישׁ בימי שׁאול זקן בא באנשׁים - 1 Samuel 9 1:3 - And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.
ועלה האישׁ ההוא מעירו מימים ימימה להשׁתחות ולזבח ליהוה צבאות בשׁלה ושׁם שׁני בני־עלי חפני ופנחס כהנים ליהוה - Isaiah 23 14:16 - They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble , that did shake kingdoms ;
ראיך אליך ישׁגיחו אליך יתבוננו הזה האישׁ מרגיז הארץ מרעישׁ ממלכות - Numbers 4 5:15 - Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal ; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance .
והביא האישׁ את־אשׁתו אל־הכהן והביא את־קרבנה עליה עשׂירת האיפה קמח שׂערים לא־יצק עליו שׁמן ולא־יתן עליו לבנה כי־מנחת קנאת הוא מנחת זכרון מזכרת עון - Nehemiah 16 5:13 - Also I shook my lap, and said , So God shake out every man from his house, and from his labour, that performeth not this promise, even thus be he shaken out , and emptied. And all the congregation said , Amen, and praised the LORD. And the people did according to this promise.
גמ־חצני נערתי ואמרה ככה ינער האלהים את־כל־האישׁ אשׁר לא־יקים את־הדבר הזה מביתו ומיגיעו וככה יהיה נעור ורק ויאמרו כל־הקהל אמן ויהללו את־יהוה ויעשׂ העם כדבר הזה
