- Jeremiah 24 42:3 - That the LORD thy God may shew us the way wherein we may walk , and the thing that we may do .
ויגד־לנו יהוה אלהיך את־הדרך אשׁר נלכ־בה ואת־הדבר אשׁר נעשׂה - Nehemiah 16 9:12 - Moreover thou leddest them in the day by a cloudy pillar ; and in the night by a pillar of fire, to give them light in the way wherein they should go .
ובעמוד ענן הנחיתם יומם ובעמוד אשׁ לילה להאיר להם את־הדרך אשׁר ילכו־בה - Deuteronomy 5 31:29 - For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days ; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.

ויבא אל־גדרות הצאן על־הדרך ושׁם מערה ויבא שׁאול להסך את־רגליו ודוד ואנשׁיו בירכתי המערה ישׁבים - 1 Kings 11 20:38 - So the prophet departed , and waited for the king by the way, and disguised himself with ashes upon his face.
