- Ezekiel 26 10:1 - Then I looked , and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.
ואראה והנה אל־הרקיע אשׁר על־ראשׁ הכרבים כאבן ספיר כמראה דמות כסא נראה עליהם - 2 Samuel 10 6:2 - And David arose , and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name is called by the name of the LORD of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubims.
ויקם וילך דוד וכל־העם אשׁר אתו מבעלי יהודה להעלות משׁם את ארון האלהים אשׁר־נקרא שׁם שׁם יהוה צבאות ישׁב הכרבים עליו - 1 Kings 11 8:7 - For the cherubims spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.
כי הכרובים פרשׂים כנפים אל־מקום הארון ויסכו הכרבים על־הארון ועל־בדיו מלמעלה - 2 Kings 12 19:15 - And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said , O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth ; thou hast made heaven and earth.
ויתפלל חזקיהו לפני יהוה ויאמר יהוה אלהי ישׂראל ישׁב הכרבים אתה־הוא האלהים לבדך לכל ממלכות הארץ אתה עשׂית את־השׁמים ואת־הארץ - 1 Samuel 9 4:4 - So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from thence the ark of the covenant of the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth between the cherubims : and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.
וישׁלח העם שׁלה וישׂאו משׁם את ארון ברית־יהוה צבאות ישׁב הכרבים ושׁם שׁני בני־עלי עמ־ארון ברית האלהים חפני ופינחס
