- 1 Samuel 9 26:3 - And Saul pitched in the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon, by the way. But David abode in the wilderness, and he saw that Saul came after him into the wilderness.
ויחן שׁאול בגבעת החכילה אשׁר על־פני הישׁימן על־הדרך ודוד ישׁב במדבר וירא כי בא שׁאול אחריו המדברה - Deuteronomy 5 1:40 - But as for you, turn you, and take your journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.
ואתם פנו לכם וסעו המדברה דרך ימ־סוף - Deuteronomy 5 2:1 - Then we turned , and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.
ונפן ונסע המדברה דרך ימ־סוף כאשׁר דבר יהוה אלי ונסב את־הר־שׂעיר ימים רבים - Judges 7 20:45 - And they turned and fled toward the wilderness unto the rock of Rimmon : and they gleaned of them in the highways five thousand men ; and pursued hard after them unto Gidom, and slew two thousand men of them.
