- Zechariah 38 13:4 - And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied ; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive :
והיה ביום ההוא יבשׁו הנביאים אישׁ מחזינו בהנבאתו ולא ילבשׁו אדרת שׂער למען כחשׁ - Zechariah 38 7:7 - Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain ?
הלוא את־הדברים אשׁר קרא יהוה ביד הנביאים הראשׁנים בהיות ירושׁלם ישׁבת ושׁלוה ועריה סביבתיה והנגב והשׁפלה ישׁב - Zechariah 38 7:3 - And to speak unto the priests which were in the house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, saying , Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years ?
לאמר אל־הכהנים אשׁר לבית־יהוה צבאות ואל־הנביאים לאמר האבכה בחדשׁ החמשׁי הנזר כאשׁר עשׂיתי זה כמה שׁנים - Zechariah 38 7:12 - Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets : therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.
ולבם שׂמו שׁמיר משׁמוע את־התורה ואת־הדברים אשׁר שׁלח יהוה צבאות ברוחו ביד הנביאים הראשׁנים ויהי קצף גדול מאת יהוה צבאות - Zechariah 38 1:6 - But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers ? and they returned and said , Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.
אך דברי וחקי אשׁר צויתי את־עבדי הנביאים הלוא השׂיגו אבתיכם וישׁובו ויאמרו כאשׁר זמם יהוה צבאות לעשׂות לנו כדרכינו וכמעללינו כן עשׂה אתנו
