- Genesis 1 3:14 - And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field ; upon thy belly shalt thou go , and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life :
ויאמר יהוה אלהים אל־הנחשׁ כי עשׂית זאת ארור אתה מכל־הבהמה ומכל חית השׂדה על־גחנך תלך ועפר תאכל כל־ימי חייך - Numbers 4 21:6 - And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people ; and much people of Israel died .
וישׁלח יהוה בעם את הנחשׁים השׂרפים וינשׁכו את־העם וימת עמ־רב מישׂראל - Exodus 2 39:39 - The brasen altar, and his grate of brass, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,
