- Ezekiel 26 25:7 - Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen ; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries : I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
לכן הנני נטיתי את־ידי עליך ונתתיכ־לבג לגוים והכרתיך מנ־העמים והאבדתיך מנ־הארצות אשׁמידך וידעת כי־אני יהוה - Jeremiah 24 34:1 - The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion , and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities thereof, saying ,
הדבר אשׁר־היה אל־ירמיהו מאת יהוה ונבוכדראצר מלכ־בבל וכל־חילו וכל־ממלכות ארץ ממשׁלת ידו וכל־העמים נלחמים על־ירושׁלם ועל־כל־עריה לאמר - Deuteronomy 5 7:6 - For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God : the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
כי עם קדושׁ אתה ליהוה אלהיך בך בחר יהוה אלהיך להיות לו לעם סגלה מכל העמים אשׁר על־פני האדמה - Isaiah 23 61:9 - And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people : all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed .
