- 2 Samuel 10 8:4 - And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen : and David houghed all the chariot horses, but reserved of them for an hundred chariots.
וילכד דוד ממנו אלף ושׁבע־מאות פרשׁים ועשׂרים אלף אישׁ רגלי ויעקר דוד את־כל־הרכב ויותר ממנו מאה רכב - 1 Kings 11 22:32 - And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said , Surely it is the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him: and Jehoshaphat cried out .
ויהי כראות שׂרי הרכב את־יהושׁפט והמה אמרו אך מלכ־ישׂראל הוא ויסרו עליו להלחם ויזעק יהושׁפט - 1 Kings 11 16:9 - And his servant Zimri, captain of half his chariots, conspired against him, as he was in Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza steward of his house in Tirzah.
