- 1 Kings 11 4:28 - Barley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where the officers were, every man according to his charge.
והשׂערים והתבן לסוסים ולרכשׁ יבאו אל־המקום אשׁר יהיה־שׁם אישׁ כמשׁפטו - Ezekiel 26 45:13 - This is the oblation that ye shall offer ; the sixth part of an ephah of an homer of wheat, and ye shall give the sixth part of an ephah of an homer of barley :
זאת התרומה אשׁר תרימו שׁשׁית האיפה מחמר החטים ושׁשׁיתם האיפה מחמר השׂערים - Ruth 8 3:17 - And she said , These six measures of barley gave he me; for he said to me, Go not empty unto thy mother in law.
ותאמר שׁשׁ־השׂערים האלה נתן לי כי אמר אל־תבואי ריקם אל־חמותך - Ruth 8 3:2 - And now is not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshingfloor.
ועתה הלא בעז מדעתנו אשׁר היית את־נערותיו הנה־הוא זרה את־גרן השׂערים הלילה בֹּעַז Boaz מוֹדַעַת Kindred נַעֲרָה Damsel, maid(-en), youn.. זָרָה Cast away, compass, dis.. [8802] שְׂעֹרָה Barley לַיִל (mid-)night (season) גֹּרֶן (barn, corn) (threshing.. - 2 Chronicles 14 2:15 - Now therefore the wheat, and the barley, the oil, and the wine, which my lord hath spoken of, let him send unto his servants :
