- Deuteronomy 5 21:7 - And they shall answer and say , Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen it.
וענו ואמרו ידינו לא שׁפכה את־הדם הזה ועינינו לא ראו - Isaiah 23 2:3 - And many people shall go and say , Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob ; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths : for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
והלכו עמים רבים ואמרו לכו ונעלה אל־הר־יהוה אל־בית אלהי יעקב וירנו מדרכיו ונלכה בארחתיו כי מציון תצא תורה ודבר־יהוה מירושׁלם - Jeremiah 24 22:8 - And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this great city ?
ועברו גוים רבים על העיר הזאת ואמרו אישׁ אל־רעהו על־מה עשׂה יהוה ככה לעיר הגדולה הזאת - Amos 30 8:14 - They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say , Thy god, O Dan, liveth ; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth ; even they shall fall , and never rise up again.
הנשׁבעים באשׁמת שׁמרון ואמרו חי אלהיך דן וחי דרך באר־שׁבע ונפלו ולא־יקומו עוד - Jeremiah 24 16:10 - And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity ? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God ?
והיה כי תגיד לעם הזה את כל־הדברים האלה ואמרו אליך על־מה דבר יהוה עלינו את כל־הרעה הגדולה הזאת ומה עוננו ומה חטאתנו אשׁר חטאנו ליהוה אלהינו
