- Ezekiel 26 20:25 - Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live ;
וגמ־אני נתתי להם חקים לא טובים ומשׁפטים לא יחיו בהם נָתַן Add, apply, appoint, as.. [8804] חֹק "commandment/decree/or... Appointed, bound, comma.. טוֹב Beautiful, best, better.. מִשְׁפָּט Adversary, ceremony, c.. חָיָה Keep (leave, make) aliv.. [8799] - Ezekiel 26 5:11 - Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD ; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare , neither will I have any pity .
לכן חי־אני נאם אדני יהוה אמ־לא יען את־מקדשׁי טמאת בכל־שׁקוציך ובכל־תועבתיך וגמ־אני אגרע ולא־תחוס עיני וגמ־אני לא אחמול - Ezekiel 26 9:10 - And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare , neither will I have pity , but I will recompense their way upon their head.
וגמ־אני לא־תחוס עיני ולא אחמל דרכם בראשׁם נתתי - Ezekiel 26 16:43 - Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all these things; behold, therefore I also will recompense thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD : and thou shalt not commit this lewdness above all thine abominations.
יען אשׁר לא־זכרתי את־ימי נעוריך ותרגזי־לי בכל־אלה וגמ־אני הא דרכך בראשׁ נתתי נאם אדני יהוה ולא עשׂיתי את־הזמה על כל־תועבתיך - Amos 30 4:6 - And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places : yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
