- Ezekiel 26 9:9 - Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness : for they say , The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.
ויאמר אלי עון בית־ישׂראל ויהודה גדול במאד מאד ותמלא הארץ דמים והעיר מלאה מטה כי אמרו עזב יהוה את־הארץ ואין יהוה ראה - Daniel 27 9:26 - And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off , but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary ; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined .
ואחרי השׁבעים שׁשׁים ושׁנים יכרת משׁיח ואין לו והעיר והקדשׁ ישׁחית עם נגיד הבא וקצו בשׁטף ועד קץ מלחמה נחרצת שׁממות - Jeremiah 24 38:17 - Then said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel ; If thou wilt assuredly go forth unto the king of Babylon's princes, then thy soul shall live , and this city shall not be burned with fire ; and thou shalt live , and thine house :
ויאמר ירמיהו אל־צדקיהו כה־אמר יהוה אלהי צבאות אלהי ישׂראל אמ־יצא תצא אל־שׂרי מלכ־בבל וחיתה נפשׁך והעיר הזאת לא תשׂרף באשׁ וחיתה אתה וביתך - Jeremiah 24 32:25 - And thou hast said unto me, O Lord GOD, Buy thee the field for money, and take witnesses ; for the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.
ואתה אמרת אלי אדני יהוה קנה־לך השׂדה בכסף והעד עדים והעיר נתנה ביד הכשׂדים - 2 Kings 12 11:20 - And all the people of the land rejoiced , and the city was in quiet : and they slew Athaliah with the sword beside the king's house.
