- 1 Samuel 9 19:9 - And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand : and David played with his hand.
ותהי רוח יהוה רעה אל־שׁאול והוא בביתו יושׁב וחניתו בידו ודוד מנגן ביד - Isaiah 23 2:4 - And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people : and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks : nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
ושׁפט בין הגוים והוכיח לעמים רבים וכתתו חרבותם לאתים וחניתותיהם למזמרות לא־ישׂא גוי אל־גוי חרב ולא־ילמדו עוד מלחמה - 1 Samuel 9 26:7 - So David and Abishai came to the people by night : and, behold, Saul lay sleeping within the trench, and his spear stuck in the ground at his bolster : but Abner and the people lay round about him.
