- Lamentations 25 3:28 - He sitteth alone and keepeth silence , because he hath borne it upon him.
ישׁב בדד וידם כי נטל עליו יָשַׁב "to dwell/sit" (make to) abide(-ing), .. [8799] בָּדָד Alone, desolate, only, .. דָּמַם Cease, be cut down (off.. [8799] נָטַל Bear, offer, take up [8804] - Joshua 6 10:13 - And the sun stood still , and the moon stayed , until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies . Is not this written in the book of Jasher ? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
וידם השׁמשׁ וירח עמד עד־יקם גוי איביו הלא־היא כתובה על־ספר הישׁר ויעמד השׁמשׁ בחצי השׁמים ולא־אץ לבוא כיום תמים - Leviticus 3 10:3 - Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake , saying , I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified .
