- Numbers 4 14:6 - And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes :
ויהושׁע בנ־נון וכלב בנ־יפנה מנ־התרים את־הארץ קרעו בגדיהם - Numbers 4 26:65 - For the LORD had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
כי־אמר יהוה להם מות ימתו במדבר ולא־נותר מהם אישׁ כי אמ־כלב בנ־יפנה ויהושׁע בנ־נון - Deuteronomy 5 34:9 - And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom ; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.
