- Psalms 19 106:24 - Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word :
וימאסו בארץ חמדה לא־האמינו לדברו מָאַס Abhor, cast away (off),.. [8799] חֶמְדָּה Desire, goodly, pleasan.. אֶרֶץ earth × common, country, eart.. אָמַן Hence, assurance, belie.. [8689] דָּבָר Act, advice, affair, an.. - 2 Kings 12 17:15 - And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain , and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them.
וימאסו את־חקיו ואת־בריתו אשׁר כרת את־אבותם ואת עדותיו אשׁר העיד בם וילכו אחרי ההבל ויהבלו ואחרי הגוים אשׁר סביבתם אשׁר צוה יהוה אתם לבלתי עשׂות כהם - Jeremiah 24 6:19 - Hear , O earth : behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.
