- Genesis 1 50:16 - And they sent a messenger unto Joseph, saying , Thy father did command before he died, saying ,
ויצוו אל־יוסף לאמר אביך צוה לפני מותו לאמר - 2 Kings 12 17:27 - Then the king of Assyria commanded , saying , Carry thither one of the priests whom ye brought from thence; and let them go and dwell there, and let him teach them the manner of the God of the land.
ויצו מלכ־אשׁור לאמר הליכו שׁמה אחד מהכהנים אשׁר הגליתם משׁם וילכו וישׁבו שׁם וירם את־משׁפט אלהי הארץ - Joshua 6 18:8 - And the men arose , and went away : and Joshua charged them that went to describe the land, saying , Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me, that I may here cast lots for you before the LORD in Shiloh.
ויקמו האנשׁים וילכו ויצו יהושׁע את־ההלכים לכתב את־הארץ לאמר לכו והתהלכו בארץ וכתבו אותה ושׁובו אלי ופה אשׁליך לכם גורל לפני יהוה בשׁלה - 2 Samuel 10 18:5 - And the king commanded Joab and Abishai and Ittai, saying , Deal gently for my sake with the young man, even with Absalom. And all the people heard when the king gave all the captains charge concerning Absalom.
ויצו המלך את־יואב ואת־אבישׁי ואת־אתי לאמר לאט־לי לנער לאבשׁלום וכל־העם שׁמעו בצות המלך את־כל־השׂרים על־דבר אבשׁלום - Numbers 4 32:28 - So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel :
