- 1 Samuel 9 30:21 - And David came to the two hundred men, which were so faint that they could not follow David, whom they had made also to abide at the brook Besor : and they went forth to meet David, and to meet the people that were with him: and when David came near to the people, he saluted them.
ויבא דוד אל־מאתים האנשׁים אשׁר־פגרו מלכת אחרי דוד וישׁיבם בנחל הבשׂור ויצאו לקראת דוד ולקראת העם אשׁר־אתו ויגשׁ דוד את־העם וישׁאל להם לשׁלום - Judges 7 20:23 -
ויעלו בני־ישׂראל ויבכו לפני־יהוה עד־הערב וישׁאלו ביהוה לאמר האוסיף לגשׁת למלחמה עמ־בני בנימן אחי ויאמר יהוה עלו אליו - 2 Samuel 10 2:1 - And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying , Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah ? And the LORD said unto him, Go up . And David said , Whither shall I go up ? And he said , Unto Hebron.
ויהי אחרי־כן וישׁאל דוד ביהוה לאמר האעלה באחת ערי יהודה ויאמר יהוה אליו עלה ויאמר דוד אנה אעלה ויאמר חברנה - 1 Samuel 9 19:22 - Then went he also to Ramah, and came to a great well that is in Sechu : and he asked and said , Where are Samuel and David ? And one said , Behold, they be at Naioth in Ramah.
וילך גמ־הוא הרמתה ויבא עד־בור הגדול אשׁר בשׂכו וישׁאל ויאמר איפה שׁמואל ודוד ויאמר הנה בנוית ברמה - 2 Samuel 10 5:19 - And David enquired of the LORD, saying , Shall I go up to the Philistines ? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand ? And the LORD said unto David, Go up : for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand.
וישׁאל דוד ביהוה לאמר האעלה אל־פלשׁתים התתנם בידי ויאמר יהוה אל־דוד עלה כי־נתן אתן את־הפלשׁתים בידך
