- Numbers 4 36:1 - And the chief fathers of the families of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near , and spake before Moses, and before the princes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel :
ויקרבו ראשׁי האבות למשׁפחת בני־גלעד בנ־מכיר בנ־מנשׁה ממשׁפחת בני יוסף וידברו לפני משׁה ולפני הנשׂאים ראשׁי אבות לבני ישׂראל - 1 Chronicles 13 22:18 - Is not the LORD your God with you? and hath he not given you rest on every side ? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand ; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his people.
הלא יהוה אלהיכם עמכם והניח לכם מסביב כי נתן בידי את ישׁבי הארץ ונכבשׁה הארץ לפני יהוה ולפני עמו - Numbers 4 9:6 - And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day : and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day :
ויהי אנשׁים אשׁר היו טמאים לנפשׁ אדם ולא־יכלו לעשׂת־הפסח ביום ההוא ויקרבו לפני משׁה ולפני אהרן ביום ההוא - Jeremiah 24 49:37 - For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies , and before them that seek their life : and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the LORD ; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:
והחתתי את־עילם לפני איביהם ולפני מבקשׁי נפשׁם והבאתי עליהם רעה את־חרון אפי נאמ־יהוה ושׁלחתי אחריהם את־החרב עד כלותי אותם - Isaiah 23 48:7 - They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say , Behold, I knew them.
