- Isaiah 23 51:3 - For the LORD shall comfort Zion : he will comfort all her waste places ; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD ; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
כי־נחם יהוה ציון נחם כל־חרבתיה וישׂם מדברה כעדן וערבתה כגנ־יהוה שׂשׂון ושׂמחה ימצא בה תודה וקול זמרה - Ecclesiastes 21 2:26 - For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy : but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up , that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.
