- 2 Kings 12 5:12 - Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel ? may I not wash in them, and be clean ? So he turned and went away in a rage.
הלא טוב אבנה ופרפר נהרות דמשׂק מכל מימי ישׂראל הלא־ארחץ בהם וטהרתי ויפן וילך בחמה - Jeremiah 24 33:8 - And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned , and whereby they have transgressed against me.
וטהרתים מכל־עונם אשׁר חטאו־לי וסלחתי לכול־עונותיהם אשׁר חטאו־לי ואשׁר פשׁעו בי - Ezekiel 26 24:13 - In thy filthiness is lewdness : because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged , thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee.
