- 1 Samuel 9 17:46 - This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand ; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth ; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
היום הזה יסגרך יהוה בידי והכיתך והסרתי את־ראשׁך מעליך ונתתי פגר מחנה פלשׁתים היום הזה לעוף השׁמים ולחית הארץ וידעו כל־הארץ כי ישׁ אלהים לישׂראל - Nehemiah 16 13:19 - And it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the sabbath, I commanded that the gates should be shut , and charged that they should not be opened till after the sabbath : and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should no burden be brought in on the sabbath day.
