- Joshua 6 9:17 - And the children of Israel journeyed , and came unto their cities on the third day. Now their cities were Gibeon, and Chephirah, and Beeroth, and Kirjathjearim.
ויסעו בני־ישׂראל ויבאו אל־עריהם ביום השׁלישׁי ועריהם גבעון והכפירה ובארות וקרית יערים - 1 Samuel 9 7:2 - And it came to pass, while the ark abode in Kirjathjearim, that the time was long ; for it was twenty years : and all the house of Israel lamented after the LORD.
ויהי מיום שׁבת הארון בקרית יערים וירבו הימים ויהיו עשׂרים שׁנה וינהו כל־בית ישׂראל אחרי יהוה - 1 Samuel 9 6:21 - And they sent messengers to the inhabitants of Kirjathjearim, saying , The Philistines have brought again the ark of the LORD ; come ye down , and fetch it up to you.
וישׁלחו מלאכים אל־יושׁבי קרית־יערים לאמר השׁבו פלשׁתים את־ארון יהוה רדו העלו אתו אליכם - Ezekiel 26 34:25 - And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land : and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods .
וכרתי להם ברית שׁלום והשׁבתי חיה־רעה מנ־הארץ וישׁבו במדבר לבטח וישׁנו ביערים - 1 Chronicles 13 13:6 - And David went up , and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjathjearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God the LORD, that dwelleth between the cherubims, whose name is called on it.
