- Jeremiah 24 38:25 - But if the princes hear that I have talked with thee, and they come unto thee, and say unto thee, Declare unto us now what thou hast said unto the king, hide it not from us, and we will not put thee to death ; also what the king said unto thee:
וכי־ישׁמעו השׂרים כי־דברתי אתך ובאו אליך ואמרו אליך הגידה־נא לנו מה־דברת אל־המלך אל־תכחד ממנו ולא נמיתך ומה־דבר אליך המלך - Isaiah 23 37:4 - It may be the LORD thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard : wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left .

ויהושׁע בנ־נון מלא רוח חכמה כי־סמך משׁה את־ידיו עליו וישׁמעו אליו בני־ישׂראל ויעשׂו כאשׁר צוה יהוה את־משׁה - Jeremiah 24 34:10 - Now when all the princes, and all the people, which had entered into the covenant, heard that every one should let his manservant, and every one his maidservant, go free, that none should serve themselves of them any more, then they obeyed , and let them go .
וישׁמעו כל־השׂרים וכל־העם אשׁר־באו בברית לשׁלח אישׁ את־עבדו ואישׁ את־שׁפחתו חפשׁים לבלתי עבד־בם עוד וישׁמעו וישׁלחו - Jeremiah 24 41:18 - Because of the Chaldeans : for they were afraid of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land.
מפני הכשׂדים כי יראו מפניהם כי־הכה ישׁמעאל בנ־נתניה את־גדליהו בנ־אחיקם אשׁר־הפקיד מלכ־בבל בארץ
