- Proverbs 20 1:12 - Let us swallow them up alive as the grave ; and whole, as those that go down into the pit :
נבלעם כשׁאול חיים ותמימים כיורדי בור בָּלַע Cover, destroy, devour,.. [8799] חַי Age, alive, appetite, .. שְׁאוֹל Grave, hell, pit תָּמִים Without blemish, comple.. יָרַד × abundantly, bring dow.. [8802] בּוֹר Cistern, dungeon, fount.. - Zechariah 38 12:6 - In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf ; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left : and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
ביום ההוא אשׂים את־אלפי יהודה ככיור אשׁ בעצים וכלפיד אשׁ בעמיר ואכלו על־ימין ועל־שׂמאול את־כל־העמים סביב וישׁבה ירושׁלם עוד תחתיה בירושׁלם - Exodus 2 30:18 - Thou shalt also make a laver of brass, and his foot also of brass, to wash withal: and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.
ועשׂית כיור נחשׁת וכנו נחשׁת לרחצה ונתת אתו בינ־אהל מועד ובין המזבח ונתת שׁמה מים - Exodus 2 31:9 - And the altar of burnt offering with all his furniture, and the laver and his foot,
ואת־מזבח העלה ואת־כל־כליו ואת־הכיור ואת־כנו מִזְבֵּחַ Altar עֹלָה Ascent, burnt offering .. כְּלִי Armour(-bearer), artill.. כִּיּוֹר Hearth, laver, pan, sca.. כֵּן Base, estate, foot, off.. - 1 Samuel 9 2:14 - And he struck it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot ; all that the fleshhook brought up the priest took for himself. So they did in Shiloh unto all the Israelites that came thither.
והכה בכיור או בדוד או בקלחת או בפרור כל אשׁר יעלה המזלג יקח הכהן בו ככה יעשׂו לכל־ישׂראל הבאים שׁם בשׁלה
