- Jeremiah 24 31:36 - If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
אמ־ימשׁו החקים האלה מלפני נאמ־יהוה גם זרע ישׂראל ישׁבתו מהיות גוי לפני כל־הימים - 2 Chronicles 14 21:7 - Howbeit the LORD would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and as he promised to give a light to him and to his sons for ever.
ולא־אבה יהוה להשׁחית את־בית דויד למען הברית אשׁר כרת לדויד וכאשׁר אמר לתת לו ניר ולבניו כל־הימים - 2 Kings 12 17:37 - And the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law, and the commandment, which he wrote for you, ye shall observe to do for evermore ; and ye shall not fear other gods.

למען יראוך כל־הימים אשׁר־הם חיים על־פני האדמה אשׁר נתתה לאבתינו - Deuteronomy 5 6:24 - And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive , as it is at this day.
ויצונו יהוה לעשׂות את־כל־החקים האלה ליראה את־יהוה אלהינו לטוב לנו כל־הימים לחיתנו כהיום הזה
