- 2 Kings 12 23:1 - And the king sent , and they gathered unto him all the elders of Judah and of Jerusalem.
וישׁלח המלך ויאספו אליו כל־זקני יהודה וירושׁלם מֶלֶךְ king King, royal שָׁלַח × any wise, appoint, br.. [8799] אָסַף Assemble, bring, consum.. [8799] זָקֵן Aged, ancient (man), el.. יְהוּדָה Judah יְרוּשָׁלִַם Jerusalem - Deuteronomy 5 31:9 - And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and unto all the elders of Israel.
ויכתב משׁה את־התורה הזאת ויתנה אל־הכהנים בני לוי הנשׂאים את־ארון ברית יהוה ואל־כל־זקני ישׂראל - 1 Chronicles 13 11:3 - Therefore came all the elders of Israel to the king to Hebron ; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the LORD ; and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of the LORD by Samuel.
