- 1 Samuel 9 11:7 - And he took a yoke of oxen, and hewed them in pieces , and sent them throughout all the coasts of Israel by the hands of messengers, saying , Whosoever cometh not forth after Saul and after Samuel, so shall it be done unto his oxen. And the fear of the LORD fell on the people, and they came out with one consent.
ויקח צמד בקר וינתחהו וישׁלח בכל־גבול ישׂראל ביד המלאכים לאמר אשׁר איננו יצא אחרי שׁאול ואחר שׁמואל כה יעשׂה לבקרו ויפל פחד־יהוה על־העם ויצאו כאישׁ אחד - Amos 30 4:4 - Come to Bethel, and transgress ; at Gilgal multiply transgression ; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years :
באו בית־אל ופשׁעו הגלגל הרבו לפשׁע והביאו לבקר זבחיכם לשׁלשׁת ימים מעשׂרתיכם - Exodus 2 34:25 - Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven ; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.
לא־תשׁחט על־חמץ דמ־זבחי ולא־ילין לבקר זבח חג הפסח - Psalms 19 49:14 - Like sheep they are laid in the grave ; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning ; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.
