- Ezekiel 26 6:3 - And say , Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD ; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys ; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.
ואמרת הרי ישׂראל שׁמעו דבר־אדני יהוה כה־אמר אדני יהוה להרים ולגבעות לאפיקים ולגאית הנני אני מביא עליכם חרב ואבדתי במותיכם - Ezra 15 9:6 - And said , O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God : for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens.
ואמרה אלהי בשׁתי ונכלמתי להרים אלהי פני אליך כי עונתינו רבו למעלה ראשׁ ואשׁמתנו גדלה עד לשׁמים - Ezekiel 26 36:4 - Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD ; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken , which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about ;
לכן הרי ישׂראל שׁמעו דבר־אדני יהוה כה־אמר אדני יהוה להרים ולגבעות לאפיקים ולגאיות ולחרבות השׁממות ולערים הנעזבות אשׁר היו לבז וללעג לשׁארית הגוים אשׁר מסביב - 1 Chronicles 13 25:5 - All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
