- 1 Samuel 9 14:28 - Then answered one of the people, and said , Thy father straitly charged the people with an oath , saying , Cursed be the man that eateth any food this day. And the people were faint .
ויען אישׁ מהעם ויאמר השׁבע השׁביע אביך את־העם לאמר ארור האישׁ אשׁר־יאכל לחם היום ויעף העם - 1 Kings 11 5:14 - And he sent them to Lebanon, ten thousand a month by courses : a month they were in Lebanon, and two months at home : and Adoniram was over the levy.
וישׁלחם לבנונה עשׂרת אלפים בחדשׁ חליפות חדשׁ יהיו בלבנון שׁנים חדשׁים בביתו ואדנירם על־המס - Psalms 19 53:4 - Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge ? who eat up my people as they eat bread : they have not called upon God.

ויאמרו כל־העם אשׁר־בשׁער והזקנים עדים יתן יהוה את־האשׁה הבאה אל־ביתך כרחל וכלאה אשׁר בנו שׁתיהם את־בית ישׂראל ועשׂה־חיל באפרתה וקרא־שׁם בבית לחם - Exodus 2 6:1 - Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh : for with a strong hand shall he let them go , and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.
