- Numbers 4 35:2 - Command the children of Israel, that they give unto the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in ; and ye shall give also unto the Levites suburbs for the cities round about them.
צו את־בני ישׂראל ונתנו ללוים מנחלת אחזתם ערים לשׁבת ומגרשׁ לערים סביבתיהם תתנו ללוים - Joshua 6 18:9 - And the men went and passed through the land, and described it by cities into seven parts in a book, and came again to Joshua to the host at Shiloh.
