- 2 Samuel 10 24:2 - For the king said to Joab the captain of the host, which was with him, Go now through all the tribes of Israel, from Dan even to Beersheba, and number ye the people, that I may know the number of the people.
ויאמר המלך אל־יואב שׂר־החיל אשׁר־אתו שׁוט־נא בכל־שׁבטי ישׂראל מדן ועד־באר שׁבע ופקדו את־העם וידעתי את מספר העם - Genesis 1 36:26 - And these are the children of Dishon ; Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
ואלה בני דישׁן חמדן ואשׁבן ויתרן וכרן בֵּן son Afflicted, age, (Ahoh-.. דִּישׁוֹן Dishon חֶמְדָּן Hemdan אֶשְׁבָּן Eshban יִתְרָן Ithran כְּרָן Cheran - 1 Kings 11 4:25 - And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.
