- Numbers 4 31:28 - And levy a tribute unto the LORD of the men of war which went out to battle : one soul of five hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep :
והרמת מכס ליהוה מאת אנשׁי המלחמה היצאים לצבא אחד נפשׁ מחמשׁ המאות מנ־האדם ומנ־הבקר ומנ־החמרים ומנ־הצאן - Exodus 2 18:13 - And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people : and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening.
ויהי ממחרת וישׁב משׁה לשׁפט את־העם ויעמד העם על־משׁה מנ־הבקר עד־הערב - Numbers 4 31:30 - And of the children of Israel's half, thou shalt take one portion of fifty, of the persons, of the beeves, of the asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of beasts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD.
וממחצת בני־ישׂראל תקח אחד אחז מנ־החמשׁים מנ־האדם מנ־הבקר מנ־החמרים ומנ־הצאן מכל־הבהמה ונתתה אתם ללוים שׁמרי משׁמרת משׁכן יהוה - Leviticus 3 1:3 - If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish : he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.
אמ־עלה קרבנו מנ־הבקר זכר תמים יקריבנו אל־פתח אהל מועד יקריב אתו לרצנו לפני יהוה - Leviticus 3 3:1 - And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd ; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD.
