- Judges 7 6:27 - Then Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did as the LORD had said unto him: and so it was, because he feared his father's household, and the men of the city, that he could not do it by day, that he did it by night.
ויקח גדעון עשׂרה אנשׁים מעבדיו ויעשׂ כאשׁר דבר אליו יהוה ויהי כאשׁר ירא את־בית אביו ואת־אנשׁי העיר מעשׂות יומם ויעשׂ לילה - Jeremiah 24 17:8 - For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh , but her leaf shall be green ; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
והיה כעץ שׁתול על־מים ועל־יובל ישׁלח שׁרשׁיו ולא ירא כי־יבא חם והיה עלהו רענן ובשׁנת בצרת לא ידאג ולא ימישׁ מעשׂות פרי - Ezekiel 26 8:17 - Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man ? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger : and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.
ויאמר אלי הראית בנ־אדם הנקל לבית יהודה מעשׂות את־התועבות אשׁר עשׂו־פה כי־מלאו את־הארץ חמס וישׁבו להכעיסני והנם שׁלחים את־הזמורה אל־אפם - Genesis 1 44:17 - And he said , God forbid that I should do so : but the man in whose hand the cup is found , he shall be my servant ; and as for you, get you up in peace unto your father.
ויאמר חלילה לי מעשׂות זאת האישׁ אשׁר נמצא הגביע בידו הוא יהיה־לי עבד ואתם עלו לשׁלום אל־אביכם - Genesis 1 44:7 - And they said unto him, Wherefore saith my lord these words ? God forbid that thy servants should do according to this thing :
